If valuing wealth is about an agreed upon shared value

Are we over valuing the tech that doesnt really add much value to most people’s life?

companies like facebook doesnt even produce anything tangible but are valued at half a trillion, seems to me the rich of the west have figured out a way to keep pumping their wealth by fake innovations, which is supported by pseudo intellectuals. Just when people are waking up to realize the bad influence it has on the society, suddenly Priscilla wants to eradicate diseases. These people are scary as fuck, worse than hitler

I am glad it helps you, unfortunately the cons of it far outweigh its pros.

Like how it blatantly spreads misinformation ?

It uses very very very bad tactics in its algorithms to keep you active on its site. Also when you give large groups of people a tool, especially the crazies, they almost always use it for bad things, its essential to limit how they can use it, but unfortunately this site encourages any ways of using it as long they make money

Is this serious? Facebook doesn’t provide anything tangible? If you completely removed Facebook today, what would replace it? So much ignorance

😀 i am sure we dont need a replacement, 10yrs ago people lived better lives than they do today because of it.

This shitty company fueled materialism. I would be happy to see people not knowing all the materialistic shit rich can afford by exploiting the poor. This shit needed to be curbed yesterday.

People tend to romanticize the past, I highly doubt people’s lives were better 10 years ago compared to today. There were plenty of ways normal people were seeing materialistic shit rich people were buying. Why don’t we get rid of the internet while we are it. I’m sure the people in the 1960s were pretty happy too.

Honestly tired of this argument, Facebook doesn’t produce anything tangible if you’re an anti-social person with no friends
