As per this Forbes article, India will beat China in growth. https://www.forbes.com/sites/panosmourdoukoutas/2018/04/21/indias-economy-on-track-to-beat-china/#3d18d0585136 I have been investing in India for past 5 years and I have first hand experience of selling real estate property with 100% profit. As US real estate reached it's peak, starting a poll to get the mood about Investing in India real estate. I believe there is still scope for growth in India real estate. Do you? TC: 350k, YOE: 10
That's the country where the buildings fall down and trap people, right? And public transportation is foot, pedal or extremely overcrowded train?
Hmmm... capable of reproduction...how abt u?
At least people dying by building are far lesser than the sheer number of people more so kids killed with the gun violence. Add on top of that a joker as a head who has made the country a laughing stock. An over crowded train is much better than no public transport whatsoever baring a couple of cities really? Lot more to write but this country 🇺🇸 is far more beautiful and people far more nicer than what you make others believe. So stop the bigotry.
If you adjust for inflation that 100% means nothing really.
And Rupee losing value, I measure my net worth in $ and having assets in India means it goes low or stays the same even after appreciation. On top of this, your white money becomes black in real estate when you sell, not worth it!
Yup, I did some investments in India to test the waters, but after inflation and the currency devaluation, what I got back in dollars was a bit less than what I invested, although in real rupee terms it looked great.
Sanitation please
I feel you just got lucky. Thousands of projects are stuck mid way, property prices are not growing, hard to find a buyer when selling, also consider USD exchange rate My first hand experience was average % growth not worth the pain Rents are really low compared to House prices
Most if not all gains are lost in exchange! Soon it will be 100 Rs to a $
Don't buy apartments ...but land
Wtf with all these ‘india only’ polls
Indians taking over bruh! Lol :D
Many real estate projects are inflated because of the foreign investments by the Indians... Literally driving making housing unaffordable to domestic buyers. When the bubble bursts, most of the projects are going to be abandoned half way. I've seen 10s of apartment projects being abandoned after laying skeleton for 10 - 15 levels. Investing in land might be a better way but the inflation might make it impossible to find buyers
My investments are all lands. I have people to take care of them. In USA real estate prices depreciate but not the case in India. People are happy to hold but don't sell for lower price. Rank of property I invest in- 1. Commercial land 2. Commercial space in mall 3. Residential land 4. Apartment in land owner share. Never buy directly from the builder. That's not investment.
India will never pass China. The average Chinese has a level of work ethic that the average Indian will never reach.
True. Most of Indians are lazy and are ok to be lowballed. Few exceptions - Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella and the Kurian Brothers.
I agree
