I am in a confused state, should I choose a peaceful life in Europe with less salary, less growth, but nice wlb and piece of mind or follow the rat race in Bay Area ?? Please advice If any recession happens in recent future, which place would be better stable ?? Also I am on visa and I may loose chance to come back to US
No, India. Got an opportunity in Central Europe
i ve been in a similar situation although i now have a green card:) My thought was to stay a bit here till i save enough so i can then decide to move to europe ..
World is connected much more than before. Recession here would impact many places, so you cannot escape that. Stay put work hard and enjoy what you have.
Do you feel like learning another language besides English?
I can learn to survive not fluent
Czech is near impossible to learn mate. Look up the word for Thursday. All you'll learn is how to order 1, 2, or 3 beers
I had chance to work in Europe few times but preferred USA as I was in middle of green card processing. Also my family lives in America (continent) so seen could be harder
Europe. Good company will provide you flexibility to move in future if you like..
It’s too early to ask now, but they have offices in APAC
A multinational in Europe. So that you can come back on L1 if you want in the future. Overall life in Europe seems better, but not sure what the reality is. Could be the case of grass is greener.
I would go with SF and move to more chill place, seattle or portland maybe? Better food, more asian community, and arguably less racisim
Your baseline premise is wrong. Europe will not be a peaceful place in 10 to 20 years. If you paid attention politically, at all, you’d know that. We’re on the precipice of some bad times and immigrants, especially brown ones, are going to be targets.
