https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/amazon-faces-backlash-for-selling-shoes-rugs-with-images-of-hindu-gods-2038730 A call to boycott Amazon in India has gotten a lot of traction after rightwing Indians accuse it of being Hinduphobic for selling mats with Hindu gods, as though Amazon has personally reviewed and approved every doormat design! I'm relatively a new immigrant from India, and I feel that Indians on average (not of course not every one) triggered very easily, compared to Americans on average? An Oxford student who got all the IIT JEE (India's most prestigious exam) got abusive messages from angry Indians. https://www.indiatoday.in/technology/news/story/british-student-at-oxford-gets-iit-jee-100-per-cent-right-angry-indians-abuse-him-and-his-mom-1024163-2017-07-13 So why so much insecurity? Just a few days ago, a man was assaulted in a theatre in Bangalore for not standing up for the national anthem! And worse, his assault was applauded on social media. Why such primitive thinking? When was the last time you've heard of someone being assaulted for not standing up for the national anthem in the US? In fact Americans on average are tolerant and mature to respect free speech even if it comes to tearing down the US flag and even not standing up for the national anthem, and outrages like Anti Fa protests that erupt in violence are extremely rare? Is it because Indians are not really mentally ready to be in a democracy?
Okay.
What ever you may say or do, aayega to MODI hi 🤣😂🥳🤩
America should be more patriotic like India instead of a self hating country
I don't see any reason why America isn't patriotic. I just think they aren't insecure and medieval like India
Yeah thats why every Patriotic Indian runs to the west. There is no freedom of speech and the laws are archaic with extremists roaming everywhere.
Blame BJP for the rampant right-wing nationalism and brainwashing. But the problem is, there is nobody better.
Sad
It’s become jingostan now
Calling Indians uncivilized is not going to get your Green Card processing fast forwarded.
So prove me wrong? When was the last time you've heard of someone being assaulted for not standing up for the national anthem in the US? When was the last honor killing in the US --outside immigrant communities?
Atleast in India people aren’t afraid of their kids being shot dead in schools
It saddens me that people here have ganged up against the op , Rather than bringing up any constructive points or suggestions or at best debunked his rethoric
I'm surprised the Modi yokels haven't flagged the post yet
There are problems in every country, and it is upto you to generalize it or not. Police shooting and school shootings happen in US, so does that represent US in general? Part of problem here is also the media propaganda. Recently a non-Indian co-worker of mine asked me - is it true that after Modi Muslims in India are being persecuted and they are moving to other countries. That shows how much the media can change the ground reality. Sure there are incidents happening, but they are outliers, they were there before too. Modi being in power is just making it look bloated.
Don't you think a person being assaulted for not standing up for national anthem and that being cheered on social media is a cultural issue? People aren't people beaten up in the US for not standing up for the national anthem! Why? Because it is not a civilized thing to do. And there are hardly 10 school shootings in the US, and they aren't cheered on social media. So it is not a cultural issue as much an issue due to availability of guns!
Now it seems more like the person who got beaten up is op’s relative or friend or op himself. Because literally that is the only argument constantly put forth by op against everyone else’s.
To India.

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
You may be right but I also think you have some issues.
Yes, I do. I'm too honest?
Lot of people in india, do not like UK, as they ruled india for 200 years, and took a lot of wealth.
