What is your motivation to continue to work in the US? Most of us are never going to see gc in our lifetime.
Then go back..?
Print money until asked to go back.
Motivation? Really?
Gc for motivation? 💀 💀 🤣🤣
I can continue working in this country on ViSa as long as I want. What else can I ask for?. Having a GC is not magically going to change my life much overnight
Money.. what else do you need for motivation??
Making long term plans in India. Not buying any property in US. Staying in US for a large TC of $450k plus. Will happily retire with all my wealth in India. Good luck US with your dumb immigration policy that favors lawyers and illegals.
TC?
Yup need to know TC before anything else 🤚🏻. That's what we're all here for😅
so all this time your motivation was gc ?
🔥
@hanging Do you have any idea what ‘not having a stability’ means? Not having a GC means you are on F1/H1-B, which basically means that you have to keep worrying if you need to switch jobs. If you get an RFE while H1B transfer, you are stuck at your old sucky job for the next 4 months until your RFE is cleared. Because, if you leave your job and are unemployed for more than a few days, you lose your visa status! You always keep thinking ‘what happens if I get fired?’. If anything goes wrong, your ‘visa expiration’ clock starts ticking again! Most of the people who come here for higher studies have a huge student loan back in their county at 11%-15% interest. Just imagine taking a loan of $70k at 13% interest and then when you finally start working and want to start paying back your loan, you have to leave back to your country because you ran out of your visa status? You wouldn’t even want to start calculating the dreadful numbers! People on visas can not afford to take a break from their jobs and go on a 2 month location. Because, if they do, they will lose their visa status! I mean, I can go on and on, but the point is that you won’t get my point unless you get ignorant head out of your ass and look around! All the best!
