Any Indians here who have loved back after taking US citizenship. How are things on terms of jobs, work, life? are you thinking of coming back or is the citizenship more of a "just in case" measure? Do you see any advantage of getting one and moving back?
I’m planning to.
Pls go and don’t look back
Nobody is asking you
🤦🏼♂️
Regardless of citizenship how easy is it to look for an offer
Most people ensure that their children are born in the US then go back soon so that the children have Indian upbringing. This also ensures that their children are US citizens. Common reasons to move back are expensive healthcare, being back with family again, lower cost of living in India and expensive domestic help in the US.
This is actually an incredibly horrendous idea from a childhood development perspective. Not sure why any parent with half a brain would every consider such a thing for their children.
I know a few children they have turned out great. Should move back within 2 years of the child being born. Plus they won't have to go through VISA or green card hassle and still be very Indian.
