Infra @ Airbnb Seattle
Have an offer to join Airbnb in Seattle. Perks, comp, wlb all look great. My one reservation is finding infra heavy work. My understanding is that Airbnb organizes teams vertically, so almost everyone is full stack. Are there teams in Seattle that just build back-end and have good growth/mentorship potential? Currently E5 @ FB, with likely promo to E6 within a year. 7 yoe, verbal offers from Google and Lyft too. EDIT: OMG, folks, if I was gonna share TC I would have done it... Right now I want advice on Airbnb, and I don't want the numbers to influence that discussion. I'll post the full offers later, once I have all 3 in hand.

I don’t think the Seattle office has that many Infra teams? I know they’ve got some infra work around customer experience tooling but afaik all the heavy infra teams are in San Francisco.
