USD 30+ million likely acquisition of under 2 year old, 10 member team? CTO sure looks heavy credentialed, rest of the team looks like you and me. All of us FANG+ RSUwhores whining about H1B probably learn a thing or two from this. PS: I agree this is impractical if you are married, have children etc, just wanted to share this with you all.
I sometimes hope we had a firewall similar to the one in China. That way, we would be forced to build our version of tencents, alibabas etc and make our own money instead of just selling out our soul being H1Bs.
India needs to learn from china instead of West as our situation is similar to where China was 15-20 years ago. West was here 60 years ago and we have been learning their behavior when they are at top instead of when they were struggling. We have been completely fooling ourselves. It's like an sde starts acting and talking like Jeff Bezos or Satya Nadella of today instead of 20 years ago. He will end up nowhere.
Hi OP, hows India working out. Have u left for startup yet as planned or changed ur mind? Asking coz i have a similar plan for later.

Another one. Kunal Bhal, former Microsoft employee was denied H1B. Instead of cribbing on Blind, he went back and started Snapdeal which is valued at $7bb. https://money.cnn.com/2017/02/02/news/india/snapdeal-india-kunal-bahl-h1b-visa/index.html
