Wrapping up my internship and trying to consider what to do with my future. I read a lot on here about TC and all that and I’m trying to understand it and use it to decide what to do if I get a return offer at Amazon. It would be for another internship, I’m assuming if I take it I will most likely get a full-time return offer. If I don’t, I am assuming I’ll be able to get another internship somewhere nice. But I don’t know if I should play it safe and stick with Amazon, or go try out something different... I enjoyed my summer with Amazon, I could see myself working there for a couple years. I was wondering if any one here had thoughts based on their experience? or if anyone had any suggestions/more things to consider?

That being said, I think you’re better off seeking out another internship regardless, *if* you want to maximize your options / money and long term potential. What I mean is, if you don’t return for another internship, you gain the upsides of:
- more and different experience
- an internship-in at another top company, hopefully
And sacrifice:
- no end of internship full-time offer *at amazon*
- more stress interviewing to find an internship
- more stress if you decide you want back at Amazon
So: if you want the easy route, stay at Amazon, and go right into full time. You will never have to do another interview until at least a year after graduation. You will have a relaxed senior fall. If you want the adventurous and more difficult route, go somewhere else. You *can* always come back to Amazon, you’ll just have to interview. If you want to hedge your bets, get a lonnnnng offer deadline extension on your amazon internship. Like, November (this is easy if your school has a policy about it, Amazon will honor even if they don’t recruit at your school). Spend the intervening time interviewing other places, and use Amazon as the fallback
