International money on H1B
I have built an app for my cousin in Canada who provides a service to his clients and they pay a monthly fee and I get a cut. So I make around 12k CAD a year. He wants me to withdraw the money once in 6 months, so he doesn’t want to spend my money by mistake. Also, I am planning on moving to Canada in 1.5-2 years. what options do I have to bring the money into US? As gift? Just send to bank? or Is there anyway to create an account in Canada and save there?

@OP, just spend the money in US via credit/debit card... I am sure your yearly credit card purchases will run above 12K CAD a year....
