Internship - Microsoft or Unicorn?

Deciding for an internship between Microsoft and a unicorn startup in the autonomous vehicle field. Similar compensation, but which one will lead to better opportunities after a few years given I receive a return offer for full time? I don't care much about WLB while I'm young, so I'd really only be using Microsoft as a resume booster.

The unicorn has ~500 employees and a valuation over 3B. Which would you choose?

Iā€™d get Microsoft on my resume first. Resume boosters are important šŸ˜†

Once I manage to get experience, isn't it much easier to land interviews based on your skills and knowledge, not companies you've worked at?

Yea it would really depend on a lot of things. Iā€™m just speaking in very broad terms resume boosters.

Not sure how accurate my data points are, but I've seen 180k base for those with a few YOE (2-5)

You will care about WLB whrn you experience what bad WLB is

Do both if possible. Deferring msft to fall term should be doable, and the startup should also be flexible.
