I had an internship with a company, was then hired as a full employee. Currently my resume just says that I work there, should I include that I was originally an intern? And what's the best way to do that? Sub title: intern->hired?
But wouldn't it show like... here I was an intern and they hired me because I was so good and I'll be a good intern for you too!
Why would you want to be an intern after getting pulled on FT to a team? Lol
Just put the title you currently have/ended with. Nobody cares you were converted as an intern
Thank you for your response. You answered the question I had. If it was relevant, I wanted to put it on the resume, if not I don't want to waste anyone's time.
I’d rather see intern position than “worked at subway” or whatever you did before it. Depends how you’re filling space on your resume
This is a good point. Keep things relevant. Put the internship in there if you're gonna use fluff in lieu of it lol
It was an internship in web production and development and then I got hired on full time in the position and it's where I have been for two years since. So yes, the internship is relevant, but my position is currently full time. And what I seem to be seeing is not to worry about mentioning that I was originally an intern before getting the job.
I would put the internship as a separate entry. It shows your progression. It's the same as listing a promoted position separately.
Somebody answer!
