At what stage of the interview process do you reveal a competing company? I’m interviewing with a few companies and have an on-site and 3 at the technical screen stage. Would this be the right time to reveal to the recruiter the actually company that I’m interviewing with or wait to have a live offer on hand? This is just to gain traction at Google which seems to be moving painfully slowly and the on-site is at Facebook. My thought process is that this might work as validation to prioritize my application. Wondering if it’ll help move things through. I understand the flip side is bombing the Facebook on-site. What’s the advice here?
Not until having offer. Imagine the recruiter asking about latest on other company and there is decline from that other company. Without names, you can say you’re still waiting on offer/on-site scheduling/feedback etc.
Just tell them when you are doing things a d when you want to make a decision by

I have always been asked by recruiters are you interviewing at other places. The correct answer is yes. Letting them know they need to put a stronger package to win you over. Eventually you may also need to give them deadlines
I’ve told them yes, the question is should I reveal who I’m actually interviewing with in the pre-offer stage to get traction with a recruiter?
No
