I have interviews coming up with Airbnb. I know they give a lot of importance to culture fit, and I have never used the Airbnb platform myself (friends did). Is this a red flag? Is it too late or I can try it out before interviews? If there are some HR people from Airbnb here, that would be great :)
Watch a YouTube video of someone booking a room on AirBnB. There’s gotta be one. I would think.
They will definitely ask.
Depends on what position you are applying for, if it’s say a PM role then it could be important
If you're out of state, just book Airbnb for your interview and discuss it during interview
I have worked with Airbnb. So i think you should watch videos on youtube about airbnb and its service. Or just install thier app and go through the interface
There may be a few questions around feature ideas, areas of improvement in the current app that you should be able to answer. Not having a good answer may be considered as "lack of interest" or receive negative points on "culture fit"
I never had an iPhone (or any Apple products) before joining. Who cares?! They want someone who can code
i didnt have a facebook
Doordash sends a $15 coupon to onsite candidates to encourage them to use the app before they interview. That was my first time ever using Doordash. They extended an offer despite my lack of previous usage.
