Interviewer looking at phone, texting, and yawning entire time?

Had on site and interviewer was being weird - looking at his phone frequently and texting (phone buzzing and dinging whole time), yawning loudly 10+ times, and playing with the markers (stacking them up like a lightsaber and waving it around while I wrote on the board??). When I looked at him I sometimes tried not to laugh as I explained the code. Very strange interview. When I finished the LC hard he asked for complexity and then ended the interview without any questions too.. Other rounds were normal. Is this a new interview technique? It is faang type company (not amazon)

Why tagged amazon then?

Seems like They’ve already selected their candidate and your interview was just a formality they had to go through. Sorry about that

No, of course it’s not normal. Make some noise because these big companies “need data” to correct themselves when they pull crap like this

Lmao the lightsaber thing has to be a joke right?

No it surprised me since I've never seen that since middle school

Sounds like they put someone on the rubber gun squad, short timer syndrome, or soectrum.

I had an interview at faang where one interviewer did all that except the marker sword, but still got the offer. So I wouldn't worry too much.

Had similar experience but at Amazon.
