Hello, Anyone here has some exposure regarding work culture and stability at Zoox? Any insight on interview for Firmware Engineer position will be appreciated. YOE - 4 TC - 150k
Yes! Thanks for your comment. Just wondering, did you get any offer from them after your interview? Why didn't you take it?
DMed you
DMed you both.
Serious questions about the viability of zoox as a business.
Why so
Does anyone know what is in the higher management round? What do they talk about?
It’s a behavioral round. Nothing technical. Pretty easy and straight forward.
What's the role you're looking at?
The interview is super easy. Probably the easiest I had in the last 5 years. 30 min presentation, then 4 45 min slot with 1 being a math/analytics round. After that you get called to meet their higher management, mostly 2 rounds 30 min each. If you get this call then you are already in. They give a LOT of RSU (yes RSU, not stock options) but are pretty conservative on base pay unless you current base pay is high. They are expanding their FW base very fast. So while in one hand it’s good as in, if your mind is set then sure, you can just walk in. The team looked really good. But at the same time weigh in the affects of a fast growth and also the autonomous industry is a bit volatile (let’s just say compared to SamSung)
Dm'ed you!
What are the math/ analytics questions they ask?
