I applied to LinkedIn for a Senior SWE position and two days after, one of their recruiters contacted me. We had a phone call and she says she's going to schedule me for a phone screen and then she disappears. I sent her a couple of emails over 3 weeks and no reaponse. I reached out to the hiring manager last week on LinkedIn and also no response. I'm really interested in LinkedIn so any ideas how I can push my application forward? YOE: 9, TC: 130K (east coast)
Literally the most unprofessional hiring process. I just dropped out because I couldn’t stand how frustrating the process is.
Well, probably because of the headcount issue. Move on OP, lot of things happen at the background of a company that we don’t know, so just go on with other opportunities. On a side note, my experience with Linkedin recruiters has been very positive
Why? Absolutely shite product offering.
Can you reach out to a different recruiter ? Wait for sometime otherwise DM I’ll see how I can help
DM and I can connect you to a recruiter- the original recruiter may have left the company/ be on vacation. Most managers will not respond to candidates in process unless they’ve been matched together.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Never heard about that. Any specifics?
Worst? 🥺
