2000 per month Salary. Want some passive income. Any ideas? Going to be a dentist in 3 years
You can buy the house youâll be living in first
Do you have tuition to pay? Focus on that before investing
I have 5k savings. I live in VA. My loans would be 350K after school.
yep. IMO every penny you earn, after an emergency fund, should go to your tuition. Pay off those loans as quickly as possible.
Jesus did you not learn anything in school? Pay off your god damn student loans
Pay off loans first. Buy an REIT ETF after that unless you want to live in your own house.
Which reit do you recommend?
I don't know about specific REITs, so I just invest in the index: VNQ / VNQI
Not worth it at those levels. Your income after you graduate will be much higher than whatever you can make in real estate starting with a low down payment. Focus on your school and career first. Dentistry is a lucrative career and you can make $$$$
Your student loan is how much APR? Pay those down ASAP
If you can afford to, buy a house for passive income and use depreciation to offset your high income as a dentist

You have the down payment? What city are you in? Do you already own a house for yourself? 2k a month is probably not enough unless we are talking about a trailer
