      Listen son...
Every joke comes with an expiry date. Past that date the joke gets increasingly rotten.

Step 1 figure out timeline. Otherwise it's up to personal choice and risk tolerance.

      Low risk:
      ally savings account: 2%
      Ally cd: 2.75%

      Medium risk:
Bonds such as MUB, or vbtlx

      High risk:
Stocks + bonds. You can choose you allocation. Can always do 80% bonds 20% stocks.

Losing money. Not loosing. Loose is like loose belt. Lose is like lose weight. Comprendรฉ?

    1. Save the money in CD or something else
    2. Buy lottery with interest earned

This 1) does not lose principal 2) maximize upper potential

Asking for broad advice is one thing. But then asking people to Google specific things for you is another.

Sounds like you donโ€™t know when you want to pull the money out, so youโ€™d likely prefer to have it all liquid. Iโ€™d probably rule out a CD in that case. Probably a high yield savings account will do, such as Ally
