Based on my risk tolerance, they invested my 70K into their list of funds which I don’t have any clue about it.Its been a week and I see 500$ down. Please let me know your thoughts.
You know that the stock market goes down once in a while, right?
The market is down and if you invested a few days a go, the Dow was over 25k points.
But if you invested in Netflix few days ago instead, it's raining $$
What if it went down :-(
dude markets fluctuate, you did not lose anything unless you panic sell and 500$ from 70k is less than 1% down which is nothing. This is a long term investment not a you wont see it go up everyday. ETF on robinhood also go down and based on you concern with such a small loss youd probably do much worst trying to trade etfs on your own. I use wealthfront for more than 1 year my money was down, but not its up by more than 40%.
i think wealthfront is the best roboadivisor this small loss would get tax harvested if it was on wealthfront
Pretty much all robos do tax loss harvesting now.
Dollar cost average into SPY and QQQ and ignore everything else. When >1-2m start adding crypto/stocks you know
And a week down is nothing, be mentally ready for 2-3 years down

Is it cheaper to eat chipotle everyday than buy groceries ?
Robo investment is stupid. If it's your retirement money pick a vanguard target date and forget about it
