Investment tips

I want to start investing. I plan to start with $5000. Can you people give me some advice as to how I can start investing and what to invest in? Are robo investors like Wealthfront and Betterment worth considering?

On a serious note splitting between faang and rest AMD won't be too bad an investment. Mix it up with iq and HUYA depending on ur risk appetite

If that's all you have, stick to VOO or QQQ if you wanna overweight tech. Wouldn't touch individual stock before you have at least 3m salary in ETFs/low risk bonds/cash. Otherwise, GOOG, FB, DIS are solid, relatively low risk stars. IQ, HUYA etc are too risky imo

Bigger risk = bigger rewards. Bought fb at 45 sold at 100 back in the day...and although return was 100%+, it was only an extra $1k. If you're young, 5k isn't much in the grand scheme of things. Dump it all into 1-2 stocks and hope for the best. IQ if you can stomach volatility. And watch out for short term gains taxes.
