Is Apple still hiring?
I’m trying to apply to Apple for a long time, seems like the resume is not getting picked. I applied through a recruiter and he said I sent it to correct manages however nothing after that. Ideas?
No phone screens means your resume is not getting attention. Could be you don’t have the proper experience. Could be your resume is just bad.
Assume at least 500+ applicants per position. What would make you and your resume stand out?
Is your resume the same quality as your post? Maybe that’s why you are not getting noticed.
I sent my resume through posting and internal referral. My resume and past experience was a direct match for the role which was somewhat of a niche non-SWE role. I never got contacted. I’m convinced they are not hiring many folks right now
My friend told me hiring is very selective now, and depends on the team/org. They would only hire if there is a need and the team needs to be a priority program to be ensured the headcount.

Well I have got calls from all except Apple, hence wondering I actually am in talks with other companies (Amzn, Google) so I don’t think it’s the resume but again I’ve heard they’re too selective so may be the resume is the issue??
