So im seeing bridge completley covered in smoke and was shocked tbh.. Is the bay area at risk ? Will there be evacuation warnings ? Im new to this country and had no idea forest fires were so deadly
No, it’s the residue smoke coming from recent NoCal and SoCal fires. Smoke cannot cause fire. Fire causes smoke.
It surely could be. You have vast amounts of wild life all around you and in every direction. I grew up here and it was never this bad but the current trends suggest that could change. I'd go east if possible as the Sierra's will block the smoke.
It’s only in the last two years in California and the last few years around the world that wild fires have become so deadly. You have to go back a hundred+ years to find similarly deadly fires in the US, and similar amounts of time or longer to find wild fires that were as deadly as the recent fires in Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Greece, and other Mediterranean climates. There hasn’t been a major fire in the Bay Area in 27 years, but fire is always a risk anywhere with low humidity and high winds
Hopefully SF burns down. Finally get rid of all that shit and piss all over the streets and more importantly all the liberals. Well overdue.
Wanted to know as well.. but where to evacuate to?
