Is Citadel NXT part of Hedge fund or Securities?
Title. I got contacted by a few recruiters for NXT program. Seems like a multi-year rotational program, but not sure if it's part of Citadel Securities or not. And similarly, whether or not the pay is diff from other SWE positions in Securities
Depends on background. I known folks that are around 200k TC there with 1yoe
NXT is the hiring program for the hedge fund side of the business for candidates with a few (2-3 usually) YOE. As far as TC, would say around 250-350 but YMMV. Personally I would say try to get placed onto a specific team instead of going through NXT if possible. Compensation and culture can differ a lot team to team on the hedge fund side.
Would you be able to say anything about PCG's comp/culture?

If I recall it was hedge fund. Pay seemed dope. Was told of 3yoe xoogler with 700 TC. Personally had friend with 1yoe exfb >300TC offer.

Citadel targets for software are on the order 1x base. In this particular case, ~150k base and good signing bonus gave him target TC over 300 for first year. Disregard signing bonus in subsequent years, his target bonus was expected to rise so target TC didn't have much of a drop off after 1st year
