Personally, I’m a huge fan of FB calendar and love that I can access a wealth of chronologically organized events that mostly appeal to me. However, after discussing FB others features with a bunch of millennials I learned that most have abandoned FB for other social media and no longer believe FB to be relevant? Do you agree?
Facebook was thoroughly dead for my friends at least 5 years ago, but Instagram is dominant now especially for women. Facebook is for old people and randos. My parents are addicted to it, sadly. Interested to see what happens when Insta inevitably goes to shit. I’ve noticed more ads in my feed nowadays and fewer friends posting less frequently. The ads are also very creepily targeted. Never click any. Stories are still big and maybe growing. IGTV sucks, lol. Twitter is for Donald Trump and self-important old people. Lots of people oversharing things nobody else cares about. Snapchat... lol. But some friends still obsessively use it and still have an account. 25 years old.
FB, Insta, Twitter, snap all are here to stay. FB price drop is a great buying opportunity
I don’t know anyone who uses it anymore other than family who are all over >50 everyone my age and younger (mid 30s) use Insta and iMessage to chat.
I am 32 I still use it everyday and feel they have a platform to monetize in many areas , however I am not sure if younger generation is using it or not , that said twitter and others are definitely taking share of their revenues so I feel a price drop of 10% is justified
The mainstream apps are quickly loosing their goodwill with customers... I honestly think this market will be disrupted by niche social networks that allow people more privacy and connect with people they can relate to.
Nice
And to be honest I did not post anything in years , have been reading the posts though
I have little cousins who are in high school and they say that no one uses FB anymore. They're mostly on IG and Snap
Wall St knows the real growth of FB is now in Instagram and potentially WhatsApp.
Haven had fb for 5 yrs. Shut down my Insta before fb got them, never had whatsapp. Over 50, online social networking is not an important part of my life. I do have accounts on a couple niche sites and a tumblr for the pron.

Google CFO confirms "large-scale" layoffs today (Apr 17)
Facebook was great in my undergrad years but frankly is people have kids and get married and travel it just isn't really as relevant. If Twitter did some minor adjustments that could probably beat Facebook. I use Gmail everyday, Google Docs everyday, Amazon Fire everyday. The only thing that actually keeps me using Facebook is probably the group's feature
For me it's the reverse. After I got married, had kids, I used FB more to share pictures, etc. Where as before, I rarely used it.
