Have a FB interview coming up and was wondering how much interview performance matters for negotiating comp, especially given the fact that you don’t know your interview ratings.
I can’t imagine any company completely ignoring the interview performance when deciding on comp. your comp is basically how much value we think you’ll bring to the company times how hard it is to find someone like you

Yes, but not only interview perf. At least in my experience

They told me so! About the interview perf. But I interviewed for oculus, not general Facebook. But of course which area of the company can also play a role in terms of business demand, how successful the group is. This is true for all companies I’ve seen.
