HBO has been advertising on 35hr work life balance, but looks like there is lot of pressure to deliver HBO Max.. Is it aggressively hiring and at the same time firing them if misfit for their aggressive delivery requirement? In other words what's the job security?
I have heard about the aggressive hiring, high pay, and relaxed wlb. I have not heard anything about firings. (It ain’t Amazon, lol).
No aggressive firings. Job security is pretty high.
Do you get all TC as base? If not can you share the details?

How does 35 hr go together with aggressive delivery timelines? 🤔
Exactly... They are selling themselves with 35hr week, but based on HBO Max articles and their hiring feels like there is good amount of pressure. I doubt they're is 35hr well followed now a days..
So far management has been able to keep the 35 hour work week by being willing to cut features from HBO Max, which we have. Hard to say what will happen as we get closer to launch. But so far WLB has been preserved.
