Is HackerRank bullshit?
I always thought those tests were just a measure of how well a candidate did at HackerRank tests. Are they a valuable hiring tool? Google doesn't use it. Why about other tech companies?
If there is a correlation between Hackerrank ability and success as a professional developer, I've never seen it.

I haven't understood why many of these companies use hackerrank as their hiring tool. I am a student and from my perspective, it's a total waste of time. if you are thinking of improving your skills by doing hackerrank, you are wrong. Leetcode is far, far better than hackerrank. Stay away from hackerrank, it's a total bs.

Many companies use hacker rank test instead of telephonic . Not google though but companies like uber ,pure storage
