Every few years, I hear some promise of immigration reform, but it never happens for real. I've heard that this is done to make sure that immigration laws are always very confusing for foreigners, so that the US continues to attract students (tuition) and cheap labor from all over the world, and the US can then kick them out once the US is done using them during their prime working age years. I wouldn't be surprised, given this country's history of doing horrible things. Is this true or false?
I dont think they will do anything. 1 guy goes back to home country 10 more ready come
if you think h1b visa is for anything other than to benefit US tax base and corporations you're gonna have a bad time
It’s solely to bring in labor for businesses to use the talent and then most likely make you go back when companies don’t need you. It’s not a charity drive.
Dude, stop whining and GTFO if you hate it so much here. I'm from the same country you are. Everyone knows what they're signing up for before coming to the US. What is the point of ranting? Instead, prove your worth and get a EB1 green card. Wake up, you're not entitled !
EB1 is a sign of worth? Sure. HR manager coming in EB1 is so much more talented than an engineer having MS degree from US college working on challenging tech problems in FAANG.
Hard work is... hard. Demanding entitlements is easy.
What irks me is, very few are actually grateful to their country of birth for subsidized education and resources spend on them. When or where is the time to pay back.
Country of birth should not subsidize education, or pose restrictions on their citizens from leaving. That is a policy failure for the country of origin.
Most of public education including college in USA is subsidized by taxes. What if many moved to Europe and paid taxes only in Europe.
It's a political scam , will never happen. The last thing that was done is AC21.
And they are forcing you to come here or stay here against your will?
Nope!
So its not a scam.
