Seen many Blinders here say go do some leets to get better in coding interview. Do you guys mean LeetCode or any can do? We have Hackerrank and Freecodecamp. Thanks
I don’t understand Blinders.. Such cheap asses. I work in HW and don’t even have the TC of an average blinder and still see the value of paying for something that will allow me to increase my TC by any arbitrary multiplier.. Seriously? You know it’s worth it, but you’re just a cheap ass.
i paid $35 for a month and that was enough.
I needed more than just a few weeks to prepare. I prepared for 6 months and I did get the job, so I think it's worth it for those who are preparing for a longer period is time.
I've paid 159 for an year just recently after LC helped me nearly double my TC. I did about 250 LC in 3 months to be able to do that. Leetcode has quality and premium tells you the most relevant questions. You'll be wasting a lot of time if you just solve random questions on other sites like hackerrank. Will try to get into a faang at the end of my subscription.
How did you use premium? Just preparing for specific company questions?
To be honest I got the job I am currently at before I bought the premium. But I like that you can sort questions according to frequency and there is no locked questions and solutions anymore. Currently I am using it to prepare for a Google onsite coming up in November and doing Google specific questions + a few more which were locked earlier.
Maybe, maybe not. With free version You still get 60%+ of questions. If You want more questions (maybe not as interview-centric), there are lots of other free websites, e.g. codeforces, topcoder and so on.
Amazes me that people in tech dwell on a popular touted career investment worth $159
I’ve been paying it for multiple years. Keep practicing even when you’re not looking for a job. It enables you to not have to practice when you do decide to look. I guess I find it fun. I can never get enough time to finish my side projects. But on LeetCode I can always finish a problem and turn the code into perfection.
$159 is a drop in bucket compared to the return on investment.
NO. You can get all the paid stuff for free on other websites. Lintcode has the locked questions from leet and also by company. There are other similar sites. I just got into a FAANG and doubled my tc without the premium.
The $200 you saved is definitely going to make a difference! With compounded interest you might retire half an hour sooner.
Correct! and I do this in many other places and it adds up. Congratulations! you figured out how savings work!

It was $35 a year ago? Anyway, LeetCode is by far the best investment I have ever made. $70 for 2 months helped me increase my TC $100k after tax per year
Can you please tell how did you use after paying for subscription like mocks and everything?
Read question, solve in 45 minutes, submit code, learn from the errors that LeetCode highlights in your code. Do that for 200 questions and you should be good
