Losing subscribers not a good sign...what do you think? https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/17/netflix-earnings-q2-2019.html
Their price rise is killing them.
Who is cancelling over a couple bucks?
Apparently a 126k folks.
Price rise and content. I've found myself switching between them and other providers more because other catalogs are getting better. Eventually might unsubscribe
I'm really sick of all these subscriptions I have. Netflix is the next one that I'm killing off. My kids are the biggest users of it, but other services seem to cover what they want already.
Agree. Everybody wants ur money and once u subscribe, all they want to do is bump up the price but want to pay less to maintain their content. For e.g, Disney stuff is gone and marvel is leaving too.
To your point Disney+ is going to destroy Netflix
Obviously killing Netflix sub soon. Disney+ wont just be for kids.
Do they pay you to advertise?
You do realize that no other providers will license good content to Netflix in the US going forward. All Disney, WB, and NBCU content is leaving Netflix over the next 3 years.
So what will happen to FANG without Netflix? ๐๐
Disney is for teenagers.
Bullshit, Disney has the rights to all Marvel content.
And Star Wars
I mean... everyone said theyโd cancel if Netflix removed The Office.
I agree, my 15 YO is bringing on it. My 20YO did it a few years ago, then it was it's always sunny in Philadelphia...
Shit, they did? I'm only through season 5
The subscribers will reduce further after the office and friends gone from Netflix
I think Netflix has much better content than its competitors contrary to what others are posting here. Maybe Iโm the minority, but I donโt see any concern (yet). My opinion may change once Disney+ hits
I mean, I watched Stranger Things season 3 - time to cancel until season 4

Wall Street needs to find a better metric than subscriber growth. With the explosion of different streaming services most are going to do exactly this, subscribe for a month at a time, binge what you want, and then cancel. Netflix's only current advantages are inertia and selection, and the latter is disappearing quick. If they can't find a more representative metric, Netflix is sunk.
