Find a older model without touchbar from offerup at a much better price. Since you are doing web development you may not need a lot of CPU and RAM

Thanks. Most of the time would go on iOS dev and I'm going for a refurbished. But it seems a 3.1ghz or above dual core comes with touchbar. I wonder is it makes a difference

Touch Bar and keyboard are shit on the new Mac. I’d gladly trade the new one for the older keyboard with just better hardware specs.

I agree with you. But we can buy an older model without the useless and annoying touchbar. We get all the goodness of Apple ecosystem and avoid the shit hell hole of windows and PC
