For office travel, once in a month going out of town. How is parking and costs for parking?
No I sold mine. LimePod and Car2Go are both good car sharing programs. LimePod is like $15/hr or $55/day and includes gas
What is your experience with LimePod?
I love it, use it several times a month. I took a 300 mile round trip that wouldve cost $55 in gas alone for $55 total, 12 hours I had the car The fiats arent great and look ridiculous but are zippy enough and I fit even though I’m 6’3
Seattle, no. Don’t do it. Redmond, probably yes, you might need a car. Unless you live near bus lines and live a simple life.
Seattle no, Redmond yes. But it really depends what you want to do. If you want to experience the amazing outdoors (And you should), get a car. If you want to go Redmond>Seattle frequently (and you should), get a car.
Seattle no, Redmond, yes. I moved to Seattle almost 2 years ago. Spent $1k to bring my car, paid $200+/mo for parking (Belltown) and then registration and insurance. Totally not worth it. Got rid of the car 6 months in.
Redmon def needs a car to getaround
You don't need one in Seattle though commuting is much faster with one than with Microsoft's connector bus (of course that depends a bit of walking time to bus stop but to most is 10min to and another 10 to your building)
