Is facebook comp going down?

I recently received a FB internship offer and am currently deciding between offers + interviewing with other places. However, there were a couple things I noticed (1) Intern offer didn't increase from the previous year (not rly that important tbh) (2) I'd be going to FB for the return offer. However, after following a lot of new grad salary posts and threads, I feel like the comp for new grad returning interns aren't as great as they used to be. There used to be 100K signing and 220K stock rockstar offers floating around online but I feel like I haven't seen anyone with those dope offers anymore. I read somewhere from another commenter + I also suspect maybe this is because FB isn't doing so well recently financially? What do you guys think about this and well FB recover and bounce back? Should I take the FB offer or should I go elsewhere? Note that I definitely don't know that much about Facebook rn as I am not an insider, a lot of this is from word of mouth + speculation, so some insider insight would be nice.

Use FB offer to get better offer somewhere else

If someone is paying you more, go for it

Take out the word comp and it will be a better question.

"FB isn't doing so well recently financially" Lol

Your operating costs will skyrocket if politicians get serious about regulating tech. Your ad dollars will plummet if you lose the trust of you Corp clients. Both are likely the way things are going.

That's not exclusive to Facebook. Also, why are you talking about "ifs". We're talking about current financials.

I’ve seen new grad offers of 200k stock/100k bonus on blind itself from Fb

No it's still the same right now. FB is still very profitable per employee than other techs. If tech stocks or market crash there will be implications. And offers will probably go down everywhere including FB. That's just market dynamics.

If you actually want to validate your Facebook financials statement go read their latest 10Q filing for the SEC.

Don't want to get into a debate but I use Free Cash Flow for investment analysis. Google had FCF of about 20 billion over last year. FB had $17b. Google has 90k employees. FB at 30k employees including a lot of moderators who are lower paid. Anyway, compensation has not gone down. In fact this is a great time to get the large initial stock grant.

The 100k sign on, 220k stock offers are definitely still available
