Is it a good time to move to WA from CA now that R-88 is rejected?

I've been thinking about moving to Seattle area for a while - to me Seattle is liberal in a more chaotic and less totalitarian way than the bay area, which I think I will enjoy. All the news about R-88 was one of the things that holds me back. Now that it's likely dead, how many of you are considering moving to Seattle?

Ok, but where are you going to move to?

Why do you think it’s not going to pass? Seems incredibly close still. Hope it doesn’t.

Only ~6000 votes left to count from King county, and the gap is double that.

Do you plan on working for the government?

Microsoft TrumpWins Nov 10, 2019

R-88 was a statewide vote. The state as a whole is still more sane than CA. Seattle on the other hand will be far more totalitarian and leftist than ever before after this election. There’s now 3 socialists sitting on city council. Rent control, heroin injection sites, and head taxes are now virtually guaranteed to happen.

Yeah, DO NOT live in Seattle. Live outside King County if at all possible.

The white and Asian liberals in Seattle who voted for socialists need to suffer the consequences of their idiotic votes. They have no right to complain about the city's mess.

What's R88?

Conservatives freaking out over state agencies having D&I practices.

A referendum to restore discriminatory affirmative action at public institutions. Thankfully it was rejected.

No, the Sawants and Inslee's have not gone away, this is only a temporary setback to their plans.

Surprisingly, 37% of King County voted no. If that % had been 30, the referendum would have passed.

Microsoft tfsUEwWt Nov 10, 2019

King County is a shithole, everywhere else is great.

Liberals have destroyed Seattle and SF. Tragic.
