Is it appropriate to leave off your cumulative GPA if it is a 3.3

I had a friend suggest removing it, and would like to get a second opinion. (I’m applying for new grad roles in Digital Marketing) Thanks!

If it doesn't benefit you, don't put it on your resume. They're not going to ask you what it is during the interview.

Hint - managers don’t pay much attention to GPA... certainly not if you already have a few years of post-grad experience.

Hint - it says new grad roles in the post

No shit, smart ass. That’s why it’s a two part answer - the first directly answered him and the second is more general advice for those who care.

No one reads GPA. But, if it’s a bad one like 2.8, your chance is over.

2.8 is not a bad GPA...

Oscar 🐨koala Feb 9, 2019

That’s like getting mostly C and plus gpa inflation these days....

I’d only put your gpa on there if it was ~3.5

No one cares about anyone else’s GPA. Leave it off regardless.

Never list your gpa at all. You’re not 18

Unless it is impressive, leave it out !

I would leave it because if it’s not there i might honestly think it’s like 2.5. Rather know it’s 3.3 which it’s perfectly cool with me. There are some really bad GPAs out there trust me you are doing ok

No one looks at GPA and if they do they are probably a dinosaur.

My GPA from a state college was 2.7 😎 You bet your ass I left it off the resume.

Funny that Google is one of the few companies that filter by GPA for on campus recruiting. I'm guessing were probably a industry hire.
