I usually wake up at 6am, sleeping 8h, and Im early bird in the office. Around 1pm I feel a bad urge for a nap. If i WFH i nap for 30min and feel recharged. Where and how to nap in the office? Would you nap in the office?
Same here, many buildings have sleeping nooks
Yep, we have individual offices aka private nap spaces
Not for too much longer you don’t
Absolutely.. I've seen people napping at their desks, couches, bean bags, nap rooms etc I've taken naps whenever I feel tired or feel sick.
Definitely. We have beanbags and people use them regularly.
Agreed it depends a bit on culture. I felt the culture was accepting and I was that one guy for a while but also a high performer. Now sometimes all the nap spots are taken when I'm in need of a recharge!
My VP's office has a nice sofa. I nap there all the time
Alone or with him? If you know what I mean
I wish. This is sap not Uber
I wish this were more common. I’d feel way better and would definitely be more productive. Wouldn’t catch any good ideas like that in Pittsburgh though 🌞
We have a Zen room. With a couch. Perfect for naps.
At NVIDIA we had a cubicle that could only be accessed by crawling under someone’s desk. That cubicle was used exclusively for napping. On the other hand my other employer fired people if they caught you sleeping.
