Is my Uber equity package good?
So I started at uber as a level 5 around 3 years ago with equity of 7.5k RSU / 15k Options units equivalent. Is that good? What did others get? What did lvl 3’s or 4’s get 3 years ago in equity grants?
Yep. Equivalent of ‘head of’ (in operations) or ‘marketing lead’ in marketing
Was this 5a or 5b? Also what does 7.5k RSU / 15k Options units mean? You got both RSUs and options?
No. Received Options but by comparing it equals roughly that many RSU. 5a
Oh, if you're saying your equity is the equivalent of 7.5k RSU, and that hasn't been corrected with a one time refresh, then I change my original answer: that's terrible. I thought you meant 15k RSU, which would be good.
I had an Uber offer 3 years ago for L3. I was offered equity of 7k units.
Sounds like you were lowballed. Recent 5a offers are getting 17k+ in rsus
Seems good, relative to any time that wasn't the recent 409a drop.
