Is there money in a software development shop?
I believe I have come up with a way to massively reduce the amount of effort required to create new web applications. This would lend itself very well to be used inside of a web development shop. Is there any money in the web application development market, or is it far too saturated?

The market is saturated. Traffic is also shifting from web apps to native apps.
By native, do you mean mobile native, or desktop?

Market saturation is not a bad thing. Being the only entrant on a new market is exponentially more difficult. Specifically, there's still a huge opportunity in niche specific site builders.
