It’s well known that the Chinese government actively harvests IP from western countries via some of its strategically placed students. I am not sure this policy will help that though.

Anyone who has seen the DVDs for sale on the street in Beijing realizes IP enforcement is crap over there. I totally understand and respect your nationalist pride in your country, but if you honestly believe that nation doesn’t conduct a massive amount of intellectual property theft, we’ll, that is probably not a hill you should die on.
