Is your company's culture inclusive? What makes it work (or not)? Is it platitudes? Or real?

- Indeed Caldean92Like most tech companies, it is only superficially inclusive. Literally only skin-and-sex deep. Only for the intersections du hour.
- What do you mean by inclusive?
We have gender neutral bathrooms and things like sex and race overtly play no part in office dynamics. Technical discussions generally go by merit of the design.
We are less inclusive when it comes to cross discipline discussion ... i.e
SWE think HWE are ignorant and vice versa.
Mostly, people are busy working and this stuff plays little if any relevance most days.
- The Standard VErtintrOOPThanks all. I'm thinking about inclusive both in traditional ways (people can bring whole self to work regardless of color, sexual orientation or religion), and inclusive of new / different thinking. I tend to use the first as a measure of extent to which a company welcomes the second....perhaps that's a false assumption though.
