Is your company funding your Grace Hopper ticket + hotel? How competitive is it at your company? Can you get it expensed once you've obtained a ticket? Just out of curiosity

At CA there’s kind of a Hunger Games competition around who gets to go. We sponsor so we usually get a few free tickets.
I’ve never been, why is it such a big deal to go?
