I've got 2 offers and I hope the world doesn't go to shit
Before my new start date in a couple weeks, I really hope the market doesn't crash and make the offers rescind. Trump trade war and inverted yield curves are not making me feel good. anyone have this happen to them? when and details?

Yes, happened to me in 2008. When the market goes south, there is going to be a lot of collateral damage especially in today's world of RSU based compensation.

If the market crashes your current employer may also get rid of you. No job is guaranteed. In 2008 I saw veterans as well as newcomers get laid off. It's piece and parcel of working in today's corporate America.
