Hello Blinders, I need your advice in my job search, I am Finance professional in big reputable consumer goods company with 15 years of diverse experience, I started July of this year to look for new opportunities and all I got was several interviews with recruiters but never moved to get an interview with a Hiring Manager. The case is even worse for my wife who is an Architect with a French MBA in quality assurance, she is also a certified ISO 9001 Auditor, but she does not have American experience in her career. She applied to more than 100 various levels jobs and she never got even 1 interview for a real job even entry level. We are both a green card holders and I think our experience is Fairly unique compared to market. Would you please advice on how we can get new jobs for both of us? Thank you all inadvance
Also, 100 jobs isnt very high. When I was looking for my current job, I applied to over 400 specific positions, interviewed for 5, and took 1 job.

I think you should work on your English. It’s decent but there might be some miscommunication issues that are preventing you from getting past the initial recruiter call. Other than that, if you’re getting recruiter calls, your resume seems to be doing its job so keep applying and improving those interview skills. Also, this isn’t really an HR issue.
