Joining Google on a non orientation day? Is it possible?
Hi, I wanted to know if it's possible to join Google on a Monday which does not have orientation program. 16 December seems to be the last date of orientation this year for SWE. I am not sure how long visa processing would take thus there is uncertainty over my joining date. TC 290 L4, 7 yoe

At what level do you not have to wear the Noogler hat
It turns out that it is possible but requires business justification and lot of manual steps. Since this can lead to poor noogler experience it's highly discouraged. If needed an off-cycle joining date on a non orientation date is possible.
This is definitely a question for your recruiter lol
