I am frustated at my current workplace, not learning anything useful. Recently got an offer (not disclosing the name of company to maintain anonymity). H1 transfer will start this week under premium processing (H1 started October 1, not stamped yet). There are no worries if it is approved, but if I get a RFE, I would have to wait for 2 months and I have a planned one month leave due to a family event in January. If it gets too late, I would have to get it stamped from my current employer and stay here till Feb. Just want to know the probability of h1 transfer getting denied after RFE ? The new company is one of FAANG. Current TC : 130k New TC : 175K YOE : <2
Never join on receipt, do premium processing.
Wanna hit a rock bottom be my guest
Hey... the rate of RFE has significantly gone up irrespective of company and total compensation. My TC is high enough but my attorney still had to prove that virtualization is a specialty occupation. I am at the principal level with a CS degree and MBA. The reason is USCIS is under a lot of pressure to scrutinize applications. So it’s a function of they justifying they scrutinized all applications rather than the applicants profile
If you get a RFE .. attorneys take 1-3 months just to prepare the response. It’s a 400-700 page document
I know. Those 1-3 months are what I am afraid of. Let's hope it gets approved in one go
