Looks like more companies are having their own sale during Amazon’s Prime Day. Target and eBay are included. I wouldn’t be surprised if more companies jump on the bandwagon next year. Great for consumers I guess, but how do people working at the companies feel about getting ready for yet another big sale? And if you plan on shopping, where would you choose? My vote is Amazon. Sorry Walmart. 😅 https://mashable.com/shopping/prime-day-target-ebay/
I used to work in retail management and during Black Friday, stores would become a shit show. I've wondered what it's like for e-commerce companies without brick and mortar stores. I'm sure prepping for and even monitoring these events can be time consuming and stressful, just in a different way.
Can confirm that it is very time consuming and stressful.
Probably doesn’t compare to warehouse workers.
Just shop at AliExpress. Everything is sourced from there anyway
“We’ll call it...Christmas TWO”
At the end of the day, even during Black Friday / Prime Day retailers still make money. A lot of. You think consumers are getting a good deal... I feel retailers get a better one ;)
True, retailers also gain from the sales but what about the employees who actually have to carry out the work?
You mean these online Black Primedays are full of transactions in which both sides come out ahead? What madness is this? ;-)
Who cares. If we get actual deals, great. And why would you only limit yourself to Amazon just because you feel some loyalty to them? I promise you, Amazon doesn't feel the same loyalty to you. Whoever has the best deals, buy from them. If you actually want their junk, that is.
This country has a difficult time keeping it's money in it's pocket. Then they blame the whole world for their problems
Not even a little
shopping.google.com The best.
Amazon is genius It will never be considered a monopoly and it will continue to grow and kill all small businesses

I think one Black Friday per year is enough, IMO.
When corporations hit peak form, every day will be black friday.
Then none of the days will be Black Friday
