Junior Dev Destined for Failure

I’m a Junior Software Developer who currently works for a real estate company who is not a tech company. There is no DBA, Project Manager, Architect, Strategist, Designer, etc. We are full stack developers who wear several hats and this is severely unorganized. Prior to joining I was a PM and then attended a coding bootcamp for 4 months and this is my first development job. I was never given any training and there is no mentorship at my company, when I was assured there would be when I was hired. I’m rarely given coding tasks and I find myself doing a lot of documentation and unrelated programming tasks. My coding skills are lacking and I try to maintain them with online classes and meet ups, but I feel as though I’ve lost so much of my skills from never coding at work that I almost need to go back to school. What should I do in this situation? I’m worried about applying to other jobs because I don’t feel confident in my skill set. I’ve asked for reviews and coding projects at my current job and given only excuses. Advice please.

Find a different Junior position if you want a career in software

How do I explain to future employers my lack of experience when discussing my technical skills since I’ve been at this company for over a year and I think I had better coding skills prior to joining :/

Work your ass off and don't make that lack of experience apparent. If you cannot improve your abilities on the job you'll have to do it in your spare time until you successfully interview somewhere that will enable you to grow
