I gave an onsite interview at a company last week. Recruiter emailed me saying that: They have positive feedback on tech side but they are concerned that you didnt maintained eye contact during onsite. You're still under consideration but they wanted to interview other candidate and decide about you. In the meanwhile he told writing a thank you letter and a justification for not making eye contact would help their decision." Any tips on what to include in my thankyou email to make things better? Edit: 1. This is a SDE role.. not a sales or front desk role 2. Interviewer is asian (chinese).. on quora i found that no eye contact means dis respect to them in their culture.
That sounds weird ! Add that you have some eye strain and you were not able to look up due to too much of light ;)
Are you FUCKING kidding? Stay at Apple 😂
Really ? Which place was this
Troll? Write a letter that you got distracted by the following: For females, it was the melons! For males, it was the trouser snake! Sincerely, Another Troll
Half the people in tech do not maintain eye contact.. is it for some sales role?
Op are you Asian?
this is so un-American
Which company is this? It's very unprofessional asking for an explanation.. either u go ahead or let go.. I would find this weirder if it was one of the major players
Which freaking company it is?
a thank you letter and justification for not making eye contact? that’s pretty weird...
