Does anyone know how karat interview works?

Is it jus a coding challenge with camera on or does a person calls with camera on and its goes like a normal tech interview..

    I also have interview with them this Sunday. Seems like finding biggest rectangle in 2d matrix of 0 and 1 is quite popular question

      My chances of clearing it are 50-50. So from their side they keep asking you questions if you keep solving them.

      It's 60 min, first 20 mins went to general/technical discussion. They will ask to choose 2 topics out 5 and there will rapid fire questions then coding questions.

      First one was pretty easy solved in 15 mins. Second one was hard, told brute Force algorithm and stated writing code for one of the function but ran out of time

      Was it really biggest rectangle or the size of a rectangle within a matrix. From what I looked around it seemed like an Array/DFS question rather than the dynamic programming Maximal Rectangle problem.

    Design auto complete for IDE, you will be given strings of classes and input, input can be like MVC, MoClick, MouseClickHand

    Basically you need to split the input starting by capital letters then you will need to filterout the class names matching those token in sequence I.e for MoClick => MouseClick, MonthClickHandler etc

    For MouseClickH => MouseClickHandler

    MVC => can match to any classes where first word starts from M then V then C

    It's a video call with coding challenge. Personally I always find the video calls difficult because I can't be looking at the person at the same time I'm looking at the code. So I usually have the window where the code is as I can't keep switching back and forth.
